Book Two - The Spirit World
Chapter VI - Spirit Life
Choice of Trials
269. Is it possible for a spirit to make a mistake with respect to the value of the trial it chooses?
“It may choose one that exceeds its strength, and, in that case, it fails. But, in such cases, when it returns to the spiritual world it realizes that it has gained nothing, and asks to make up for lost time.”
